Women's Golf Opens NCAA Championship Tuesday

Columbus, Ohio - The Wake Forest women's golf team opens up the first round of the NCAA Championship on Tuesday at the Scarlet Course on the campus of The Ohio State University. The Demon Deacons, one of 24 teams that qualified for the championship, reached the finals by placing seventh at the East Regional held at Bryan Park in Browns Summit, N.C.
The tournament begins at 8 a.m. Tuesday off both the Nos. 1 and 10 tees. Wake Forest will tee off the 10th hole starting at 8:10 am. The Deacons will play the first two rounds with Kent State and Arizona.
The Demon Deacons will be represented by freshmen Nannette Hill and Jean Chua, sophomore Laura Crawford and juniors Maggie Simons and Mandy Goins.
