Two Deacons Named To PING All-Region Team

NORMAN, Okla. -- Wake Forest senior Kyle Reifers and sophomore Webb Simpson were named to men's college golf's PING All-South Region Team today.
Each of the nine PING All-Region teams are comprised of 15 golfers and any player ranked in the top 75 nationally in either Golfstat or the Golfweek/Sagarin rankings. Members of the PING All-Region teams are eligible for PING All-America honors.
Reifers and Simpson, both competing this week at the NCAA Championships in Sunriver, Ore., add to their lists of individual honors. Both were named to the All-ACC team earlier this year.
Twelve of the 17 players on the South Region team are out of the ACC.
