OAKLAND, Calif. - Wake Forest junior Michael Lahoud was named Soccer America Player of the Week for his three goal performance in No. 1 Wake's 8-0 win over UNC Greensboro and 3-0 win over No. 15 Duke.

The junior continued his offensive charge in the next match up, notching the game-winning assist in Wake's 3-0 win over ACC opponent and No. 15 Duke on Friday night in Durham, N.C. Lahoud also netted a goal of his own in the 30th minute, teaming up with classmate Jamie Franks to recover a rebounded shot by sophomore Cody Arnoux.
With Lahoud now has nine points on the season and ranks third on the Demon Deacons' shot chart with 22 and fourth in shots on goal percentage (.409).
Wake Forest, which has recorded nine shutouts this season, returns to action on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in a non-conference tilt against Coastal Carolina in Conway, S.C.
