WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Wake Forest is back in action this week with a pair of ACC road matches. The Demon Deacons will travel to Clemson for a 7 p.m. match on Thursday and then head to Atlanta for a Friday-night showdown at Georgia Tech at 8 p.m.

Thursday's match at Clemson is scheduled to be broadcast live on ACC Select.

The Deacons come into the weekend 7-18 overall and 4-12 in the ACC. Wake is coming off a pair of three-game losses last weekend. The Deacs were swept at home by Florida State and Miami, extending Wake Forest's losing streak to nine matches.

Junior Natalie Mullikin continues to lead the Deacons, ranking among the ACC leaders in several categories. Mullikin is fifth in points (4.79 per game), sixth in kills (3.95), seventh in hitting percentage (.330) and eighth in blocks (1.22).

Freshmen Kelsey Jones and Megan Thornberry also rank among the league leaders. Jones is seventh in the conference in assists with 10.43 per game, while Thornberry is 10th in digs with 4.08 per game.

Clemson enters Thursday's match with a record of 22-3 overall and 15-1 in the ACC. The Tigers, who are receiving votes in the latest AVCA Top 25 Poll, are currently tied with Duke for the conference lead. CU had its 17-match winning streak snapped last Friday with a three-game sweep at Virginia.

The Tigers defeated the Deacons in four games earlier this season in Winston-Salem. Clemson leads the all-time series with Wake Forest 21-9. The Tigers took both of last year's meetings, earning a four-game win in Winston-Salem and a sweep in Clemson.

Georgia Tech, who hosts Duke on Thursday, is currently 17-9 overall and 11-5 in the ACC. The Yellow Jackets are third in the ACC standings and have won six of their last seven matches. GT picked up five-game road wins against Virginia Tech and Virginia last weekend.

The Yellow Jackets hold a 21-8 all-time advantage over the Deacons, including a four-game defeat of Wake on Oct. 13. The two teams have split the season series each of the past two seasons.

Wake Forest returns home next week for a pair of matches against in-state rivals North Carolina and NC State. The Deacons will host the Tar Heels on Wednesday, Nov. 14, at 7:30 p.m. and the Wolfpack on Friday, Nov. 16, at 7 p.m. Both matches will be broadcast live on ACC Select.
