With the win...

  • Wake Forest moves to 7-3 overall on the season.

Hot Shooting Propels Deacs to Fast Start

  • Wake Forest had its best first-half shooting percentage since the season opener when the Deacs shot 55.9 percent (19-of-34) against Fairfield. Tonight, the Deacons shot 50.0 percent (14-of-28) in the first stanza.
  • The Deacs made 10 of their first 14 field goals in the first half for 71.4 percent.
  • Wake Forest scored the first nine points of the game and 12 of the first 13. The Deacons did not allow a USF field goal until the 14:52 mark.

Wake Uses Second-Half Run to Pull Away
