WAKE FOREST HEAD COACH Rick Rembielak
On coming back from your first ACC Tournament loss to going 2-1 in the tourney...
"After the first game (Florida State) we talked about putting the game behind us and concentrating on winning as many games as possible. We felt good even after the first game because we knew it was a tough environment - with the crowds and everything else. But the guys really stayed together. They were the ones that really talked about it and were convinced that they wanted to come back, beat Clemson and have a good showing."
WAKE FOREST OUTFIELDER Ben Terry
On the eighth-seeded team surprising everyone...
"It is great to just be in this position and having the chance to play for an ACC title. That is your goal every year as you are just trying to get into the Championship. It is amazing to have this opportunity and to go against one of the top teams in North Carolina. It will be a great match-up tomorrow."
WAKE FOREST FIRST BASEMAN Allan Dykstra
On your home run in the third inning...
"In the middle of the night I came out and started to be a little bit more aggressive. I finally put some balls up and finally got one out of here. Being more aggressive and coming to the plate knowing that you will get a hit is what made the difference for me."
MIAMI HEAD COACH JIM MORRIS
Overall thoughts on the game...
"We pretty much pulled a no-show tonight. I don't know what happened. We didn't concentrate. We didn't play defense. We walked people. We hit people. We didn't hit with men on base. We didn't do anything it takes to win a game. (This was)..A very poor effort on our side against Wake Forest, who is playing very well. You can't do that against good clubs."
Overall thoughts on the game...
"I gotta think we're getting in. That's a tough job for the people on the committee to try to seed and keep people from traveling too much. You never know what's going to happen. Last year, we got sent to Nebraska, then back to Ole Miss for a super regional against the SEC champion, then back to Nebraska the next week. You never know what's going to happen when you're throwing those names up there on the board to try to place teams. You just hope that you get in a decent situation to advance."
