With the loss...
- Wake Forest falls to 11-4 overall and 1-1 in the ACC.

- Wake Forest trailed at the half for just the third time this season. The 15-point deficit (45-30) was the Deacs' largest halftime deficit of the season. The last time Wake overcame a 15-point halftime deficit and won was Dec. 5, 1984, against Davidson.
Wake Surrenders 100
- Wake Forest gave up 100 points in a game for the first time since March 8, 2007, when the Deacs defeated Georgia Tech, 114-112, in double overtime in the ACC Tournament.
- The last time the Deacons gave up 100 and lost was a 104-67 setback at No. 5 North Carolina on Feb. 10, 2007.
- The last time Wake gave up 100 to an unranked opponent in regulation was on Feb. 19, 1983, when the Deacs defeated Duke, 110-104, in Greensboro.
- The last time Wake Forest gave up 100 to an unranked opponent in regulation and lost was on Feb. 10, 1973, when the Deacs lost at Virginia, 104-73.
Worst Loss Since 1983
- Tonight's 112-73 loss was Wake Forest's worst loss since March 5, 1983, when NC State downed the Deacs 130-89 in Raleigh.
First-Half Runs
- Boston College scored the first 11 points of the game and got out to a 20-9 lead almost eight minutes in. Wake Forest rallied with an 11-2 run that cut the deficit to 22-20 at the 8:57 mark. With the exception of Ishmael Smith, the run was keyed by four of the Deacs' bench players.
- However, the Eagles responded with a 17-3 run that pushed their back to double digits, 39-25.

- Along with Jamie Skeen, was the Deacons' first player off the bench.
- Started the second half in place of L.D. Williams, who was injured in the first half.

- Started for the 15th straight game.

- Along with Harvey Hale, was the Deacons' first player off the bench.
- Led the team in rebounding (tied with Johnson) for the first time this season and the seventh time in his career.
- Scored in double figures for the fifth time this season and the 15th time in his career.
Sophomore Ishmael Smith
- Made his 43rd straight start, the second-longest current streak on the team.
- Led the team in assists (tied with Teague) for the 11th time this season and the 37th time in his career.
Freshman Jeff Teague
- Made his seventh start of the season and his sixth straight.
- Scored in double figures for the ninth time this season for the seventh straight game.
- Led the team in assists (tied with Smith) for the sixth time this season.
- Failed to register at least one steal in a game for the fourth time this season.
Redshirt Sophomore David Weaver
- Came off the bench to score a season-high eight points.
- Had a season-high three field goals.
- Tied his season-high with two blocked shots.
Sophomore L.D. Williams
- Made his 46th straight start, the longest current streak on the team.
- Left the game late in the first half with a laceration near his mouth ... received stitches at halftime and returned to action in the second half.
