Team Records and Series Notes:
• Wake Forest improves to 2-0 on the season, while UNC-Wilmington drops to 2-1 on the year.
• The Deacons have now won 46 straight home games against non-conference in-state opponents, including a perfect 39-0 mark at Joel Coliseum.
• Wake Forest has won 14 straight home games against non-conference foes, including 22 of its last 23 home non-conference games since December 17, 2005.
• Wake Forest now leads the overall series against UNC-Wilmington 11-0, including a perfect 9-0 mark when playing in Winston-Salem.
• The Deacons are back in action on Monday, November 24, at 8 p.m. (ET) when they host Winston-Salem State. The men's game will follow a matchup of the Deacon and Ram women's squads at 5 p.m. The game will be shown live on ACC Select and will be available on the Wake Forest ISP Radio Network.

Wake Forest Team Notes:
• Key Run: Trailing 7-6 with 17:45 remaining in the first half, Wake Forest went on a 26-5 run over the next eight minutes to take a 32-12 lead with 9:56 left in the first half. UNC-Wilmington cut the lead to nine in the second half, but were unable to get any closer.
• Key Stat: Wake Forest controlled the paint, out-scoring UNC-Wilmington 76-22 in points in the paint. The Deacons had a commanding rebounding advantage, out-boarding the Seahawks 52-30, including a 19-6 advantage on the offensive glass.
• The 120 points scored are tied for the third most in school history and the most ever scored in a game at the Joel Coliseum. Wake Forest also scored 120 points on February 4, 1955 in a 120-65 victory over Clemson. The previous record for most points scored at the Joel was 115, set against South Carolina State on December 7, 2001.
• Wake Forest scored 100 points for the first time since March 8, 2007, when the Deacons scored 114 against Georgia Tech on March 8, 2007 in the ACC Tournament. It's the 66th 100-point game in program history.
• Wake Forest has now scored at least 100 points in a game seven times at the Joel Coliseum. Wake's last 100-point performance at the LJVMC was on December 2, 2003, a 100-67 victory against Indiana.
• The Deacons shot 56.6 percent (47-of-83) from the field. Wake Forest has shot over 55 percent from the floor in both games to start the season.
• Wake Forest scored 41 points off turnovers, while UNC-Wilmington had 16 points over turnovers.
• Wake Forest had five players score in double figures for the first time since December 19, 2007, when five Deacs tallied double-digits against South Florida.
• The 61 points scored in the first half are the most by Wake Forest since March 2, 2005, when the Deacons scored 61 points in the second half against Georgia Tech. The 61 points are the most in a first half since January 5, 1983, when Wake scored 61 against SUNY-Buffalo.
• Wake Forest has now made at least one three pointer in 522 consecutive games.

Wake Forest Individual Notes:
• Sophomore guard Jeff Teague led all scorers with a career-high 31 points on a career-high 10 field goals made in 24 minutes of action. Teague is the first Wake Forest player to score 30 points in a game since Justin Gray scored 38 against Maryland on January 15, 2006. Teague also added five rebounds and had five steals.
• Sophomore forward James Johnson just missed a career high in points, scoring 25 in the game, one less than his career high of 26. Johnson made a career-high 11 field goals in the game and notched nine rebounds. Johnson also added four assists, three blocks and three steals.
• Wake Forest had two players score at least 25 points in a game for the first time since February 28, 1995 at North Carolina, when Randolph Childress had 26 points and Tim Duncan added 25 points.
• Freshman forward Al-Farouq Aminu recorded a double-double for the second straight game, scoring 11 points and bringing down a career-high 12 rebounds. Aminu also had a career-high five assists, tying for the team high in the game.
• Junior center Chas McFarland scored a season-high 19 points on 9-of-14 shooting from the field. McFarland also notched a season-high eight rebounds.
• Freshman center Tony Woods came off the bench to tally 11 points. Woods also brought down six rebounds.
• Senior guard Harvey Hale tied for the team-high in assists with five. Hale also scored eight points and had two steals.
