Parr, Forman Named Top Seed at ITA Indoors

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Wake Forest men's tennis athletes Cory Parr and Steven Forman were named the top seed at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's National Indoors Tournament. The duo will face Michigan's Mike Sroczynski/Jason Jung team at 10 a.m. on Thursday in Charlottesville, Va.
"This is a very exciting time for us," Wake Forest head coach Jeff Zinn said. "To be given the No. 1 seed is such an honor and the guys can't wait to get started."
Parr will also begin singles play on Thursday, taking on Harvard's Chris Clayton at 4 p.m. Clayton ranked fourth in the ITA's preseason poll and holds a 7-4 singles record so far in 2008. Parr placed 24th in the preseason rankings and is 6-2 for 2008.
