Wake Forest Baseball Announces 2009 TV/Radio Schedule

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Wake Forest baseball team will appear on television at least three times during the 2009 season in the radio and television schedule released on Tuesday morning.
The Deacs will make two appearances on the ACC's regional sports networks during the 2009 regular season. The RSN includes Comcast SportsNet, FSN South, FSN Florida and NESN. Wake's games at Duke on March 28 and at Virginia Tech on April 4 will be aired on RSN. Also, if Wake Forest reaches the ACC Tournament, each game of the tournament will be aired on RSN.
Wake Forest's other TV appearance during the 2009 season comes on Friday, April 24, when the Deacs take on Florida State in a game that will be shown on SUN Sports.
Wake Forest will be on ACC Select four times in 2009. ACC Select is the conference's subscription-based online video streaming site. Each game of the Clemson road series will be shown live on the Web by ACC Select.
WBRF 98.1 FM will serve as the flagship radio station for Wake Forest baseball games. WBRF will air 18 Wake Forest baseball games in 2009, including the season opener on Friday, February 20, against Akron at 6 p.m. Games that are aired by 98.1 FM will also be available at WakeForestSports.com. In addition to the games aired on the radio, 14 contests will be available exclusively at WakeForestSports.com.
The Wake Forest baseball team opens the regular season on Friday at 6 p.m. (ET) against Akron at Wake Forest Baseball Park.
