- Wake Forest will hit the road again to play at NC State on Wednesday, Feb. 11, at 7 p.m. in an untelevised game. The Demon Deacons will then host Florida State on Feb. 14 at 4 p.m.

- This was the first time the Deacons shot better than 55 percent from the field since playing Boston College earlier this season on Jan. 14 when they shot 55.4 percent.
- The Eagles started a 13-0 run at the 13:56 mark in the first half, but the Deacons went into the locker room down one at half, 47-26.
- Wake Forest finished with two players who totaled more than 20 points for the first time since Jan. 11, 2009. Sophomore guard Jeff Teague finished with 27 points and freshman forward Al-Farouq Aminu recorded a career-high 26 points.

Wake Forest Individual Notes:
- Teague led Wake Forest with 27 points. He finished the game 6-of-12 from the floor and 11-of-12 from the line. He also had a team-high eight assists. Teague had 21 points in the first half, including going a perfect 8-of-8 from the free throw line. His 21 points in the first half were the second-highest points scored in a first half by a Demon Deacon all season (22 points is the highest to-date this season, most recently Teague had 22 in the first half against UTEP on Nov. 28).
- Sophomore forward James Johnson recorded his sixth double-double of the season and 14th of his career, finishing with 12 points and 10 rebounds. He also added two blocks and two steals.
- Aminu surpassed his prior career-high point total of 21 by five points. He finished with 26 points and seven rebounds. He went 8-of-9 from the floor, 9-of-11 from the line and 1-of-1 from the three-point line.
