WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Wake Forest women's golf freshman Cheyenne Woods will appear live on the NBC Today Show this Sunday morning at 8 a.m., eastern time.
An NBC film crew, along with correspondent Peter Alexander, followed Woods around campus Thursday morning, at Old Town Club in the afternoon and recorded a one-on-one interview with the Phoenix, Ariz., native Thursday evening.
Woods was asked everything from why she chose Wake Forest, to some of her early memories on the course with her Grandpa Earl Woods. She also answered questions about her relationship with her uncle, Tiger Woods, and what it was like for the team to win an ACC Championship.
The NBC Today Show will air a short segment of Thursday's footage on its 8 a.m. show Sunday morning along with a live one-on-one interview with Woods. The full segment will likely air Sunday evening on the NBC Nightly News, scheduled for 6:30 p.m., eastern.
