Josh Howard finished with 21 points and 11 rebounds despite his injured ankles in the Dallas Mavericks' must-win game against Denver on Monday night. The victory, 119-117, kept the Mavs alive in the conference semi-finals.

In a hard-fought loss to Denver, 106-105, on Saturday in Dallas, Howard totaled 14 points, seven rebounds, one steal, one assist and one block in 29 minutes of action. This game was tied 11 times with nine lead changes.

Down 3-1 in the series, Howard and the Mavs take on the Nuggets in Denver at 9:00 p.m. (ET) tonight. The game will be broadcast on TNT. If necessary, Games 6 and 7 will be played on Friday and Sunday, respectively.
