Wake Forest Opens ITA Kickoff with VCU

DURAHM, N.C. - The Wake Forest women's tennis team will play in the ITA Kickoff Tournament this weekend at Duke University. The Demon Deacons will open with VCU at 10 a.m. on Saturday.

Wake Forest is 3-0 in 2010 and VCU is 2-1.

Top-ranked Duke will face Yale in the second match on Saturday. The losing teams from Saturday's matches will meet on the courts Sunday at 10 a.m., followed by the winning teams at 2 p.m. The team that finishes this weekend's play with two wins will advance to the ITA National Indoor Team Championships Feb. 12-15 at the Nielsen Tennis Stadium in Madison, Wis.
