CHARLESTON, S.C. - The Wake Forest women's tennis team defeated the College of Charleston 5-2 on Wednesday afternoon in Charleston, S.C.
Wake Forest improves to 6-6 with the victory and the Cougars stall at 8-5.
The Demon Deacons took all three doubles wins for the fourth time this season to go up 1-0 starting singles play.
Sasha Kulikova led Wake Forest at No. 1 with a 6-1, 6-0 victory over Holly Dowse. Emilee Malvehy, Ryann Cutillo and Katarina Reveche also pulled straight set wins to seal the Wake Forest 5-2 win.
Wake Forest will continue road action on March 20, facing William & Mary in Williamsburg, Va.
