King Fisher Society Student-Athlete of the Week - Laura Ormson

WINSTON-SALEM, NC - Wake Forest senior Laura Ormson has been named this week's King Fisher Society Student-Athlete of the Week.
The award, sponsored by the King Fisher Society, seeks to honor a student-athlete who has excelled both on and off the field as a Demon Deacon.
Ormson is one of three seniors on this year's women's golf team. She has played in a total of five career tournaments and carded a career-low 78 in the opening round of the UNCG Starmount Fall Classic in 2008
Off the course, the South Bend, Ind., native has started her own clothing company called Wear To Win. She received the Wake Forest Hobbs Award for Entrepreneurial Achievement for Student and Faculty Entrepreneurs last spring and her website, www.weartowin.com, launched later that summer. Ormson will graduate in May with a degree in communications.
