WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Wake Forest women's tennis team fell 5-0 to ninth-ranked Miami on Saturday in Winston-Salem.

Wake Forest's only win came No. 3 doubles, where Katarina Reveche and Martina Pavelec defeated Claudia Wasilewski and Danielle Mills 8-3.

In singles, Kathryn Talbert opened with a 7-5 first set win over Gabriela Mejia, but Mejia took the match to a super tiebreaker with a 6-3 second set win. Since the Miami had already clinched the overall win the competitors played a super breaker where Mejia added the final tally to Miami's score with a 10-4 win.

Wake Forest will continue its homestand next weekend, hosting Virginia and Virginia Tech.
