Wake Forest Basketball Completes First Official Practice

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Wake Forest men's basketball team held its first official practice of the 2011-12 season on Friday evening in Budd Gym in the Miller Center on campus.
The Demon Deacons did some film work to begin the session and then went through a rigorous two-hour workout. A number of former Deacons were on hand to watch the practice including Chris Paul, Randolph Childress, Ishmael Smith and L.D. Williams.
Wake Forest will play one exhibition game during the preseason, hosting Ferrum College on Friday, Nov. 4, at 7 p.m. at the Lawrence Joel Coliseum.
The Deacons open the 2011-12 campaign against Loyola (Md.) a week later on Friday, Nov. 11. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Joel Coliseum, and the game will be broadcast live online on ESPN3.com.
