For Tusculum, this will be its only exhibition game before the Pioneers open the season at Finley on Nov. 19. Tonight's game will be a homecoming for Pioneer head coach Adell Harris. Harris played four seasons for the Demon Deacons from 1998 to 2002 and was the starting point guard and a co-captain as a senior. That year (2001-02), she averaged a career-high 4.6 points per game and dished out 108 assists.

Tusculum has won two straight South Atlantic Conference championships and has made four-straight trips to the NCAA Division II Tournament. Last season, the Pioneers were 21-9 overall.

After tonight's game, the Demon Deacons will have a little over a week to prepare for the regular season opener on Nov. 15 against Monmouth. That game is set to begin at 6:30 p.m.
