WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Wake Forest will look to kick off the holidays on a high note when the Demon Deacons host the UNC Wilmington Seahawks on Wednesday evening. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Lawrence Joel Coliseum.

Sunday's game will be streamed for free live online via theACC.com. Evan Lepler (play-by-play) and Randolph Childress (color) will call the action.
The game can be heard on the Wake Forest IMG College Sports Network and online at WakeForestSports.com. Stan Cotten (play-by-play) and Mark Freidinger (color) have the call.
Last Time Out
Wake Forest (7-4) is coming off a 67-59 win over Gardner-Webb on Sunday in Winston-Salem. The Deacons hit 9-of-10 free throws in the final 1:13 to hang on for the win.
Ty Walker turned in a fine performance with career-highs of 12 points and nine rebounds, including five on the offensive end. Walker went 6-for-10 from the field in 23 minutes off the bench.
C.J. Harris led the Deacons with 18 points, giving him double-figure scoring totals in every game this season. Chase Fischer scored 11 points and hit 5-of-6 free throws in the final 33 seconds of the game.
Meet the Seahawks
UNC Wilmington (3-6, 0-1 Colonial) is coming off a 67-65 win over Campbell on Monday at Trask Coliseum in Wilmington. Matt Wilson's tip-in with 1.4 seconds remaining gave the Seahawks their third win in four games.
Freshman Adam Smith leads UNCW with 15.3 points per game this season, while junior Keith Rendleman follows with 14.3 points per contest. Rendleman is averaging a double-double with 10.1 rebounds per game.
Series History
Wake Forest holds a 12-1 lead in the all-time series with UNC Wilmington. The series dates back to the 1977-78 season when the Deacons handed the Seahawks an 83-79 setback on Nov. 26 in the dedication game for UNCW's Trask Coliseum.
UNCW posted its first-ever win in the series with an 81-69 defeat of Wake Forest last season in Greensboro.
In the Seahawks' most recent trip to Winston-Salem in 2008-09, Wake Forest posted a 120-88 win to set a Joel Coliseum record for points scored.
Next Up...
The Deacons will enjoy seven days off for the holiday break before resuming their schedule on Thursday, Dec. 29, against Yale. Wake Forest is 5-1 all-time against Yale with the most recent meeting coming in 2004-05.
Wake Forest will ring in the New Year and wrap up the non-conference portion of its schedule on Jan. 2 when the Deacons host Wofford at 7 p.m. Wake is 5-1 all-time against the Terriers, but the teams have not met since 1997.
