WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Wake Forest is set to wrap up the 2010-11 regular season as the Demon Deacons travel to Chestnut Hill to take on the Boston College Eagles on Sunday afternoon at Conte Forum.
Tip-off is scheduled for 12 p.m. The game will be televised on the ACC Network and can also be heard on the Wake Forest Sports Network from IMG College and at WakeForestSports.com.
The Deacons (8-22, 1-14) are coming off an 80-54 loss to Georgia Tech on Thursday evening in Winston-Salem. The Yellow Jackets outscored the Deacons 17-0 during a five-minute stretch in the first half and then put to rest any chance of a Wake Forest comeback with an 18-3 run to start the second period.
The setback spoiled Wake Forest's Senior Day, as the Deacons honored seniors Gary Clark and Denmore McDermott in a pre-game ceremony.
Clark turned in a fine performance in his last Joel Coliseum appearance, leading the Deacons with 15 points and going 2-for-4 from 3-point range.
McDermott sang the national anthem before the game and then sank his first career bucket late in the second half.
Travis McKie scored 11 points and pulled down a team-high five rebounds, while C.J. Harris went 8-for-10 from the free throw line and chipped in 10 points on the night. Tony Chennault dished out four assists to lead the Deacons.
Boston College (18-11, 8-7 ACC) comes in following a 76-71 win at Virginia Tech on Tuesday in Blacksburg. The Eagles have won two straight, with both victories coming on the road. BC is 11-4 at home this season, including a 5-2 mark in conference play.
Boston College leads the all-time series with Wake Forest, 7-3. After dropping the first seven meetings in the series, the Deacons have now won three straight over the Eagles. In its last trip to Chestnut Hill in 2008-09, Wake Forest posted its first-ever win over the Eagles with an 83-63 triumph.

Wake Forest in Regular Season Finales
Wake Forest has fared well in recent regular season finales. The Deacons have won six straight and 12 of their past 13 finales since the 1997-98 season.
Wake Forest's only loss during the 13-year stretch came against NC State in 2003-04.
The Deacons' game at BC on Sunday will mark the first time Wake Forest has finished the regular season with a road game since playing at NC State to close the 2004-05 campaign.
Until We Meet Again?
There is a good chance that Sunday's meeting between Wake Forest and Boston College won't the be the teams' last of the season. Depending on how the weekend ACC games play out, the teams could meet in the opening round of next week's ACC Tournament.
The Deacons are locked into the No. 12 seed and will play the No. 5 seed on Thursday afternoon. With a win on Sunday and some help, the Eagles could finish fifth in the final conference standings. Either Clemson or Virginia Tech could also finish fifth and open the tournament against Wake Forest.
