Deacon Signee Siegler Wins State Championship

CASSELBERRY, Fla. - Wake Forest signee Rebecca Siegler won the Division 1 singles bracket to help lead St. Andrews School to the Florida 1-A State Tennis Championship last weekend.
Siegler, who will join the Demon Deacons next fall, was the top seed in the top singles draw and defeated second-seeded Daniela Lopez of Carrolton School of the Sacred Heart 6-1, 7-5 in the championship match, earning three points for the Scots. St. Andrews, which was captained by Siegler, totalled 16 points, topping closest competitor Carrolton, which finished with 13 points.
Siegler is ranked as the 14th-best recruit in Florida and the 31st-best in the Southeast by the Tennis Recruiting Network
