
Sam Swank Signs with Jacksonville

Placekicker Sam Swank, Wake Forest's all-time leading scorer, has signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
During his career as a Demon Deacon from 2006-2009, Swank converted 71 of 93 career field goal attempts and 124 of 125 PATs. His 337 career points stands as the school record. Swank also owns nine of the school's top 14 longest field goals. He converted a pair of school-record 53 yarders vs. NC State in 2006.
Swank has spent time with Philadelphia, Cincinnati and the New York Giants since entering the NFL as a rookie free agent in 2009. The Jacksonville native played in two games for the Hartford Colonials of the UFL in 2010. He was a four-year letterman at Wake Forest and left as the school's all-time leading scorer. Swank attended Fletcher High School in Neptune Beach.
