Wake Forest to Host Four-Team Invitational
• The Demon Deacons are set to host the Wake Forest Invitational presented by Hilton Garden Inn (Winston-Salem/Hanes Mall).
• In addition to Wake Forest, UMBC, Cincinnati and Georgetown will all be participating.
• The Demon Deacons will play UMBC on Friday at 6 p.m., Cincinnati on Saturday at 4 p.m. and Georgetown on Sunday at 4 p.m.

Last Time Out
• Wake Forest fell to High Point 16-15 in the 2012 home opener on Wednesday night.
• The Demon Deacons started strong with seven runs in the bottom of the first, but the Panthers tied the game at 7-7 in the second and would go on to take a 14-7 lead.
• Down 16-10 heading into the ninth inning, Wake Forest put together a furious comeback but fell a run short.
This Weekend's Opponents
• UMBC will be opening up its season this weekend in Winston-Salem.
• Cincinnati has yet to win a game with an 0-3 record.
• Georgetown is off to a good start and is 3-1 to begin the year.
Series History
• Wake Forest and UMBC have never met.
• Cincinnati has defeated Wake Forest just once, as the Deacs have a 5-1 all-time record against the Bearcats.
• In the first-ever meeting last season, Wake Forest defeated Georgetown 7-5.

• Wake Forest will continue its homestand with the next 12 to be played at Gene Hooks Field at Wake Forest Baseball Park.
• The Demon Deacons will host UNC Asheville on Tuesday at 4 p.m.
