King Fisher Society Student-Athlete of the Week - Olafia Kristinsdottir

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Wake Forest sophomore Olafia Kristinsdottir has been named the King Fisher Society Student-Athlete of the Week.
The award, sponsored by the King Fisher Society, seeks to honor a student-athlete who has excelled both on and off the field as a Demon Deacon.
A native of Reykjavik, Iceland, Kristinsdottir is in her second season with the Deacons. In 2011-12, she is second on the team with a scoring average of 75.5.
As a freshman in 2010-11, Kristinsdottir played in every event on the season and finished fourth on the team with a scoring average of 79.0.
Last summer, Kristinsdottir won the Icelandic National Championship by nine shots.
Kristinsdottir is planning to major in economics at Wake Forest.
