King Fisher Society Student-Athlete of the Week - Paul Loeser

Wake Forest senior distance runner Paul Loeser has been named the King Fisher Society Student-Athlete of the Week.
The award, sponsored by the King Fisher Society, seeks to honor a student-athlete who has excelled both on and off the field as a Demon Deacon.
Loeser is one of the top distance runners on the Wake Forest track and cross country teams. He competes in the 800m run, 1500m run and 3000m steeplechase events.
Loeser is highly-decorated for his work in the classroom. Last season, he was named to the All-ACC Academic Team, the Capital One Academic All-District first team, the ACC Academic Honor Roll and the NCAA All-Academic Track & Field team.
A Winston-Salem native, Loeser spends a great deal of time volunteering and giving back to the community. He was honored as a 2011 ACC Top Six for Service Award recipient.
Loeser is double-majoring in biology and Spanish.
