Wake Forest Faces First ACC Road Test in NC State
• The Demon Deacons will head to Raleigh for their first ACC road series and their first road series in the month of March.
• Wake Forest and NC State will be taking part in BaseBald by the St. Baldricks Foundation during Saturday's game in order to raise money for kids' cancer research. Several players and coaches will be shaving their heads to show support for the cause.

Last Time Out
• The Demon Deacons picked up a pair of midweek victories, defeating Georgia Southern on Tuesday, 14-4, and defeating NJIT on Wednesday, 12-7.
• The win on Wednesday was the 15th straight for Wake Forest and tied the 1999 Deacon squad for the second-longest streak in school history. The 1949 team won 20 straight.
• In the two games, Carlos Lopez hit two home runs, while Evan Stephens, Mac Williamson, Charlie Morgan and Stephen Schoettmer all hit home runs as wel.
This Weekend's Opponent
• NC State has won three straight and seven of their last eight contests, including an 8-1 victory over Elon on Tuesday.
• The Wolfpack won their ACC opening series, taking two of three from Georgia Tech last weekend.
• Chris Diaz leads the team in hitting and is fifth in the ACC with a .406 average, while freshman lefty Carlos Rodon has been the team's best pitcher with a 1.33 ERA and 31 Ks in 27.0 IPs.
Series History
• NC State leads the all-time series 104-55.
• Wake Forest last won a series against the Wolfpack in 2002 by winning two of three in Raleigh.
Next Up...
• Wake Forest will head home for four games, starting with Winthrop on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
• The Demon Deacons will then welcome Florida State to Winston-Salem for a three-game conference series next weekend.
