Wake Forest Hosts Virginia Tech in Key ACC Series
• Wake Forest and Virginia Tech will play a three-game series this weekend at Gene Hooks Field at Wake Forest Baseball Park in Winston-Salem, N.C.
• The Demon Deacons and the Hokies are both part of a four-way tie for seventh place in the ACC, as the top eight teams earn a spot in the 2012 ACC Baseball Championship.

• Wake Forest defeated UNCG, 10-2, in a game that was delayed in the sixth inning for two hours because of rain.

This Weekend's Opponent
• Virginia Tech has won three straight and eight of its last nine games entering the weekend.
• The Hokies pulled off the upset last weekend, taking two-of-three from then-No. 6 Miami at home in Blacksburg.

• Wake Forest owns a 35-31 all-time advantage over Virginia Tech.
• The Hokies have taken the season series each of the last two seasons, as the Deacs last won the series on the road in 2009.
