Wake Forest Hosts Virginia Tech in Key ACC Series
Wake Forest and Virginia Tech will play a three-game series this weekend at Gene Hooks Field at Wake Forest Baseball Park in Winston-Salem, N.C.
The Demon Deacons and the Hokies are both part of a four-way tie for seventh place in the ACC, as the top eight teams earn a spot in the 2012 ACC Baseball Championship.

All three games of the series will be streamed live on WakeForestSports.com.
Friday and Saturday's games can be heard on 98.1 WBRF, as Phil Brame and Drew Branyon will have the call.

Last Time Out
Wake Forest defeated UNCG, 10-2, in a game that was delayed in the sixth inning for two hours because of rain.
Pat Blair led the offense by reaching base six times. He went 2-for-2 with three walks and an HBP.
Niko Spezial earned the win to improve to 2-0 by pitching 2.0 innings of scoreless relief.
This Weekend's Opponent
Virginia Tech has won three straight and eight of its last nine games entering the weekend.
The Hokies pulled off the upset last weekend, taking two-of-three from then-No. 6 Miami at home in Blacksburg.
Series History
Wake Forest owns a 35-31 all-time advantage over Virginia Tech.
The Hokies have taken the season series each of the last two seasons, as the Deacs last won the series on the road in 2009.
Next Up
The Demon Deacons will play their next four games on the road, starting with a non-conference tilt at Winthrop on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
Wake Forest will then travel to Boston College for a three-game series against the Eagles next weekend.
