Jennings & Ficke to Participate on European Summer Tour Team

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Wake Forest senior guard Spencer Jennings and basketball staff member Dan Ficke will join an NCAA contingent that is set to compete against international teams in Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands this month.
Jennings will compete on an 11-man team that is also comprised of current players from Brown, Loyola Maryland, Maryland, Mount St. Mary's, UNC Greensboro, Penn State, Portland and Providence.
Ficke, who serves on the Demon Deacon basketball staff as the Special Assistant to the Head Coach/Director of Scouting and Recruiting, will be the team's assistant coach. Current Loyola University Maryland assistant coach Greg Manning, Ficke's former teammate at Loyola, will be the head coach.
The nine-day trip from Aug. 8-16 is organized by Global Sports Academy and includes stops in Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands. The U.S. squad will play six games against Belgian and German teams during the trip.
