Head Coach Jeff Bzdelik

On the comeback win over St. Bonaventure...
"We're not looking in the rearview mirror. All I know is that we've got a group of guys that are growing up and they've shown great resolve the last couple of games. We're trying to be tougher and play through mistakes. We need to be tough for all 40 minutes because it's not always going to go the way you want it to go."

On Tyler Cavanaugh...
"He works extremely hard. He almost works too hard I have to kick him out of the gym sometimes. He's really worked to change his body, to become stronger, more athletic."

On the second half play of Travis McKie...
"I thought a great play was Travis McKie late in that second half when he ran down a St. Bonaventure player going in for a layup. (He) just bothered him just enough that he missed it and then came sprinting back the other way and scored. Those are the kind of plays that are inspiring and winning."

On trailing in the first half...
"I want to give St. Bonaventure a lot of credit. St. Bonaventure really came out and they were aggressive and they executed well and they participated in that in a big way."

St. Bonaventure Head Coach Mark Schmidt

Opening statement...
"I thought we did what we wanted to do in the first half - defend, rebound and take care of the ball. We missed a lot of chippies in the first half and I was a little disappointed we were only up by eight at halftime. What we did well in the first half, we didn't do well in the second half. We didn't defend and they shot 62 percent. We didn't rebound and they out-rebounded us in the second half. We also couldn't make any foul shots. When a team makes a run, one of the keys is to get to the foul line and knock them down. We were 4-of-11 in the second half from the foul line and that's disappointing. You can't beat a team that plays so well at home when you play like that. Give Wake Forest credit, they fought back and had a great second half. The things we wanted to do in the second half, we weren't able to and consequently, we get outscored by 23 in the second half."

On Wake Forest's strong second half both offensively and defensively...
"That was the key to the ballgame. Defend, rebound and take care of the basketball and in the second half, we didn't do any of those. That's why we lost."

On Charlon Kloof picking up his fourth foul...
"He's our leader and he needs to be out there. So yes, it hurt us. But at the same time, when someone gets in foul trouble, someone else has to step up. That wasn't the reason why we lost but we're a much better team when Charlon is on the floor."

On limiting Wake Forest's fast break in the first half...
"That's was the game plan and we did that in the first half. In the second half, we just couldn't score. They were able to get out on the break and get some easy baskets. But we had a hard time scoring. We missed some chippies and we didn't hit any foul shots but they got it going. Entering the game, transition defense was the number one key and we didn't do a good job in the second half."

Redshirt Senior Guard Coron Williams

On St. Bonaventure...
"That was a great team right there. I think they're going to be a tournament team this year, but we stuck together, made some big shots. Everybody contributed tonight, and that's what we need on an every night basis. We have to start off better. This made us grow."

On coming back to win for the second game in a row...
"We can't get comfortable with being down. We can't continue to fall back because teams are going to take advantage of that. But it shows our maturity and the fight that we have."

On his back-to-back 3-pointers that helped Wake Forest seize control...
"(In transition) is where I find most of my threes and guys making extra passes, you know like (Travis McKie's) pass from the corner that hit me in the wing and I knocked it down. Guys are looking for me and I have to make those plays."

Senior Forward Travis McKie

On the win...
"The first half was rough, I think we came out a little rusty having the week off (for exams). I think in the second half we rallied together, stayed together and finished strong around the rim, and we were lucky to come out with a win tonight."

On the balanced scoring...
"That's the one thing we preach is team balance. We want to spread the wealth on offense and whoever's hot, we keep going to him, but we carried the load tonight. I think we had a little bit of rust coming off of that break we had, and I think we'll continue to get better."

On being undefeated at home...
"It's great. We definitely want to defend home court. We want to bring Tie Dye Nation back to what it used to be. We have a home game Saturday, then we have a road game and then we get right into the grit of the ACC schedule."
