The Wake Forest women's golf team will return to the LSU Golf Classic which starts this Friday at the University Club in Baton Rouge, La.

Wake Forest Tournament History:
- This will be the Demon Deacons' 12th appearance in LSU's events.
- The Deacs played in the event six times from 1987-92 and then made five-straight appearances from 2007-11.
- Wake has finished in the top-7 of the team standings in eight of the 11 appearances.
- The best individual finish was by Nannette Hill in 2009 as she finished in fourth place at 6-under par.
- Four of the seven lowest team scores in school-history have been shot at the University Club in Baton Rouge.
Wake Forest Notes:
- The Deacons are coming off a 14th-place finish at the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate earlier this month.
- Marissa Dodd claimed the second top-15 finish of her career at the Darius Rucker Inter. by finishing 12th at 7-over par.
- Dodd leads the team with a 76.0 scoring average.
- Sophomore Allison Emrey notched the first career top-5 as she fired a 1-under 71 at the rain-shortened Landfall Tradition.
- That was also Emrey's first under-par round of her career.
- Junior Olafia Kristinsdottir notched the second top-5 finish of her career by finishing tied for fourth at the Mason Rudolph Challenge.
- Sophomore Emily Wright opened the season at the Cougar Classic with a career-low round of 72.
- Freshman Mariana Sims has played in all six events this season.
