Wake Forest Wraps up ACC Championships

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Demon Deacons wrapped up competition on Saturday at the ACC Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Raleigh, N.C. hosted by NC State.
Erin Brooks finished third in the triple jump, earning All-ACC honors for the Demon Deacons.
Among the top finishers on the day was Kyle Graves who finished in fifth place with a time of 3:45.77 in the men's 1500m run on Saturday.
The Wake Forest women finished ninth in the ACC with 32.5 points while the men's team finished 10th with 26 overall points.
Women's Triple Jump
Erin Brooks earned All-ACC honors in the triple jump with a mark of 12.80m, setting a new career best in the event.
Women's 4x100m Relay
The relay team comprised of Mytoia Gathings, Myesha Barr, Montasia Golden, and Brianna Dekine finished in fifth place with a time of 46.96.
Women's 400m Hurdles (Finals)
Montasia Golden crossed the finish line at 1:06.93.
Women's 5000m
Samantha Jones topped her personal best by finishing with a time of 16:33.21, while Kaitlyn Oliver also set a new personal record at 16:38.08. Teammate Aubrey Waggoner crossed the finish line at 17:44.14.
Women's High Jump
Nyki Caldwell finished in seventh place with a leap of 1.76m in the high jump.
Men's 400m Hurdles (Finals)
Sean Lunkenheimer took sixth place in the 400m hurdles, finishing with a time of 53.15 seconds.
Men's 800m (Finals)
Thomas Bojanowski finished sixth with a time of 1:50.61 while Graves took eighth in 1:56.37.
Men's 1500m (Finals)
Graves recorded a time of 3:45.77 that gave him a fifth place finish.
Men's 4x400m Relay
Daniel Harrison, Kyle Eager, Thomas Bojanowski, and Sean Lunkenheimer finished in fifth place with a time of 3:14.92 in the men's 4x400 relay.
Men's 5000m
Alexander Rose crossed the finish line at 14:29.05 while Anthony Marois finished at 14:54.19. Jake Graham finished with a time of 14:55.52 and teammate Brian O'Toole finished with a new personal best time of 14:58.81. Nate Guthals recorded a time of 15:18.86, while Connor Crowley finished at 15:21.29.
Men's Triple Jump
William Ray set a new personal record by recording a jump of 14.33m.
Men's High Jump
In the high jump, Michael Rufrano finished with a jump of 1.93m.
Men's Hammer Throw
Nate Wooten finished with a throw of 47.72m in the hammer throw event Saturday.
