WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Wake Forest travels to Tallahasse, Fla., this weekend for a three-game series against No. 9 Florida State. The Demon Deacons are riding a five-game winning streak heading into the weekend following a 10-2 victory over Winthrop on Tuesday.

Last Time Out
Wake Forest had no trouble with Winthrop on Tuesday afternoon, winning 10-2.The win was the 100th for head coach Tom Walter at Wake Forest.
Matt Conway clubbed a two-run home run while also pitching five solid innings. Charlie Morgan and Pat Blair also added home runs in the game.
Conor Keniry tied a career-high with three RBIs, helping extend Wake Forest's winning streak to five games.
This Week's Opponent
After getting swept by Virginia last weekend, No. 9 Florida State responded with a 9-0 victory over Jacksonville on Tuesday.
DJ Stewart had five RBIs in the game, leading the way offensively for the Seminoles.
Florida State is 32-9 this season with a 13-8 record in the ACC. The Seminoles are 24-2 at home in Dick Howser Stadium.
Stewart has a team-high 38 RBIs this season followed by Jose Brizuela and Marcus Davis who have 31 each.
Scott Stitz is 7-1 on the mound this season with a 1.60 ERA and 43 strikeouts.
Series History
Florida State owns a 80-21 overall record against Wake Forest with the series dating back to 1962.
After dropping the first two games of the series last year at home, the Deacs defeated the Noles 7-5 in the series finale on March 25, 2012. Carlos Lopez and Mac Williamson each had a home run in the game.
Next Up
Wake Forest hosts Elon at the Wake Forest baseball park on Tuesday at 6 p.m before traveling to Elon on Wednesday night for a 6:30 p.m. game.
