ATLANTA/RALEIGH - Wake Forest track and field competed in two separate meets on Friday. The Demon Deacons sent several throwers and jumps athletes to the Georgia Tech Invitational while the Deacs were represented at the Wolfpack Last Chance Meet hosted by NC State.

The top 48 declared athletes in each region per event qualify for the NCAA First Round Meets, which will take place May 23-25 in Greensboro, N.C. The top 12 athletes from each region then advance to the NCAA Championships in Eugene, Ore., from June 5-8.
