WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Wake Forest men's tennis team will play in another challenging tournament this weekend as it travels to the UVA Ranked + 1 Invitational in Charlottesville, Va.
Jaya Billa, Jon Ho, Adam Lee, Pedro Dumont, Sam Bloom and Aws Laaribi will compete in the tournament, which traditionally boasts a strong field.
Lee, who sits at No. 83 in the ITA Singles Rankings, is currently riding a 12-match singles winning streak dating back to March of last season.
Ho and Bloom, both sophomores, return to action after playing key roles for the Demon Deacons last season, while newcomers Dumont, a Mississippi State transfer, and Laaribi will see their first action in a Wake Forest uniform. Billa will be competing in the second tournament of his career after making his debut at the Wake Forest Spring Invitational last January.
The Deacs will begin play in the UVA Ranked +1 Invitational on Friday with the tournament scheduled to finish on Sunday.
