Lee, Laaribi pick up wins at UVa Ranked +1

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. - The Wake Forest men's tennis team finished strong at the UVa Ranked +1 Invitational on Sunday. No. 86 Adam Lee picked up another victory and a couple of young Deacons also prevailed to cap off an overall good showing.
Playing in the fifth place bracket of the Blue Singles flight, Lee won after Brett Clark of UNC retired in the third set. The final score was 6-7, 6-3, 1-0 ret.
Also playing in the Blue Singles draw, freshman Aws Laaribi scored a straight sets victory over UNCW junior Zach Hublitz in a consolation match. Laaribi won by a score of 6-4, 6-3.
Pedro Dumont won in the White Singles consolation, beating Kentucky's Justin Rossi in straight sets.
Sophomore Jon Ho advanced on Saturday to the Orange Singles consolation final, but fell short against Albert Wagner of Louisville. Ho lost by a score of 6-4, 6-3.
Next up for the Deacons is the ITA All-American Championships, followed by the UVA Fall Classic.
