Deacs Conclude Play at ITA Carolina Regional

RALEIGH/DURHAM, N.C. - Wake Forest men's tennis concluded play on the third day of the ITA Carolina Regional hosted by Duke and NC State on Saturday.
A day after upsetting the No. 52-ranked player, Christian Seraphim fell in the round of 16. Duke's 15th-seeded Raphael Hemmeler earned a 6-3, 6-1 win to advance to the quarterfinals over Seraphim.
In doubles action, both of Wake Forest's remaining pairs were knocked out by seeded opponents in the round of 16.
No. 5-seed Andrew Adams and Kyle Koch of South Carolina defeated Jon Ho and Skander Mansouri, 8-5.
The North Carolina duo of Robert Kelly and Oystein Steiro, seeded No. 9-16, defeated Sam Bloom and Anthony Delcore by an 8-5 margin.
The Deacs' next competition will be the Charlottesville Challenger, beginning Oct. 25.
