WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Wake Forest men's tennis holds its annual Fall Invitational this weekend (Oct. 10-12), as the Demon Deacons welcome 20 teams to the Wake Forest Tennis Center.
Competition begins Friday morning at 9 a.m. with two rounds of doubles, followed by the start of singles play at approximately 11 a.m.
The brackets include eight flights of singles action (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2, D1, D2) and doubles play (A1, A2, A3, B1, B2, C1, C2 and D).
Visiting teams include: Davidson, Duke, East Carolina, Elon, Gardner-Webb, Georgia State, Liberty, Louisville, Navy, North Carolina, North Carolina A&T, Radford, Rice, South Carolina State, Tennessee, Tennessee Tech, UNC Greensboro, UNC Wilmington, VCU and Wofford.
Wake Forest is coming off a successful performance at the ITA All-American Championships, in which Romain Bogaerts reached the semifinals and Jon Ho posted a 7-2 record.
Matt Erdman and Brendan Henry are making their season debuts for the Deacs.
