Mansouri Eliminated from Birmingham Futures by Top Seed

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Wake Forest men's tennis freshman Skander Mansouri was eliminated in the first round of the Birmingham Futures main draw on Wednesday.
After winning four straight matches to advance out of pre-qualifying and qualifying rounds, Mansouri drew top-seeded Darian King in the first round of the main draw.
King, the No. 323-ranked player in the world, earned the 6-1, 6-1 victory over Mansouri.
Tomorrow, Romain Bogaerts begins play in the USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championship. He was seeded fifth and will take on Georgia's No. 17-ranked Nathan Pasha at approximately noon. Other Demon Deacons will see action this weekend at the Champaign Challenger.
