WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Wake Forest women's golf coach Dianne Dailey has announced Antonia Eberhard and Jennifer Kupcho have signed National Letters of Intent to attend Wake Forest next fall.
"We are excited to welcome Jennifer and Antonia into the Wake Forest family," Dailey said. Both have had outstanding junior careers and we anticipate them having an immediate impact on our program. They are outstanding young women, who are motivated and hard working. We look forward to having them as Demon Deacons."
Eberhard comes to Wake Forest from Burgdorf, Germany. She posted fourth place finishes at the 2014 Germany Matchplay, European Girl's Team Championship and German Women's Strokeplay. She is No. 108 in the European Golf Rankings. Eberhard is a member of the German Ladies National Team, which takes the top 12 golfers in the country. As a member of the team she won the British Girls Championship last summer.
Kupcho is originally from Littleton, Colo. She won a state championship and was the runner-up and the low-amateur at the Colorado Women's Open. Kupcho was a two-time Colorado Women's Golf Association Junior Player of Year and the first player in state history to be named both the CWGA Player of the Year and Junior Player of the Year in the same season. At the USGA Girls Junior Amateur Championship she was tied for eighth in the round of 64 and she finished eighth at the Girls' Junior Americas Cup in 2014. Kupcho won the Colorado Junior PGA Championship and the Big I Junior Classic.
