WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Wake Forest Athletics has announced the upcoming promotions schedule for the 2014 Wake Forest baseball season.
Promotions that will occur throughout the season at Wake Forest Baseball Park include popular staples like, `Dollar Dog Days', `Kids Run the Bases' and `Baseball Bingo'.
`Bark in the Park', where fans are encouraged to bring their dogs to the game, is scheduled for April 26 when Wake Forest hosts Duke at 4 p.m.
Ticket prices for this season are $6 for individual game tickets. Children three and under are admitted free. Adult season passes are $48 while youth/senior season passes are $27. Tickets can be purchased at the game or in advance online at WakeForestSports.com or by calling 1-888-758-DEAC or 336-758-DEAC.
Season Long Promotions
Free Stuff Fridays
- Starting March 14th, fans can expect a free promotional giveaway at every Friday home game!
Baseball Bingo
- Starting March 15th, fans can play Baseball Bingo during the game at every Saturday home games. The first five single bingo winners receive a Wake Forest baseball t-shirt and the first blackout card wins a team autographed baseball.
Dollar Dog Days
- Starting March 16th, fans can enjoy ballpark hot dogs for only $1 each at every Sunday home game.
Kids Run the Bases
- Starting March 16th, kids can pretend what it's like to be a Wake Forest baseball player and run the bases at Wake Forest ballpark immediately following every Sunday home game.
Guess Your Speed Pitching Game
- Do you think your fastball matches the big leagues? Test out your arm starting March 15th on the concourse at the Guess Your Speed Pitching Game. For $1, a fan can throw three balls at our speed gun. If a fan correctly guesses the speed of their third pitch, they win a prize!
Individual Game Promotions
National Potato Chip Day (March 14)
- Presented by Utz Potato Chips. To help celebrate National Potato Chip Day, the first 250 fans receive a free bag of Utz potato chips when they enter the game.
St. Patrick's Game (March 16)
- Fans wearing green to the game receive free admission!
International Waffle Day (March 25)
- In an effort to celebrate International Waffle Day, Wake Forest's Alpha Delta Pi sorority will be making free waffles for all fans in attendance. Donations are accepted with all proceeds going to Alpha Delta Pi's philanthropy, The Ronald McDonald House.
Bark in the Park (April 26th)
- Fans are encouraged to bring their dogs to the game for our 3rd Annual Bark in the Park. Activities include dogs from the Forsyth Humane Society, a pregame puppy parade on the field and more!
Chocolate Chip Day (May 15)
- To celebrate National Chocolate Chip Day, the first 250 fans at the ballpark receive free chocolate chip cookies!
