Deacs Set to Compete Saturday in UCS Invitational

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Wake Forest track and field teams will compete in the UCS Invitational on Saturday, Feb. 15 at the JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, N.C. The modified schedule will have all events running on Saturday only. The day will begin at 9 a.m. with the women's 60m hurdles and the men's weight throw.
60m Hurdles Prelims
Competing for the Deacs will be Alyssa Thompson, Malcolm Nunley and Alex Krall.
60m Dash Prelims
Racing for the Deacs is Alex Krall.
Distance Medley
Wake Forest will have two men's teams competing in the event.
3,000m Run
Competing will be Chandler Borton, William Fayette and Tom Finneran.
800m Run
Set to compete are Natalie Sukramani and Brady Wilson.
1 Mile Run
Representing Wake Forest will be Ellie Abrahamson.
Weight Throw
Throwing for Wake Forest are freshman Casidy Callahan, Charlie Ionata, Kyle Johnson and Teddy Mottola.
Shot Put
Competing are Casidy Callahan and Steve Michaelsen.
High Jump
Slated to compete are Nyki Caldwell, Alyssa Thompson, Amy Collins and Michael Rufrano.
Long Jump
Participating will be Alyssa Thompson, Julie McCauley and Michael Mastanduno.
Triple Jump
Set to compete for the women are Montasia Golden and Phoebe Kershaw. Competing for the men will be William Ray.
3,000m Run Seeded
Competing for the women are Kathleen Darling, Ellie Abrahamson and Kristin Weisse.
3,000m Run Seeded
Racing for the Deacs are Kathleen Darling, Ellie Abrahamson, Kristin Weisse, Connor Crowley and Garret Drogosch.
800m Run Seeded
Slated to race are Kathryn Lazarchick, Tessa Riley and Marie Johnston.
1 Mile Run Seeded
Competing are Kathryn Lazarchick, Kyle Graves, Jacob Poyner and Evan Little.
Pole Vault Seeded
Vaulting for the Deacs are Sydney White, Madison Bragg, Scott Marshall and Michael Cyphers.
Next weekend the Deacs travel to South Bend, Ind. for the Alex Wilson Invitational on Feb. 21-22.
