Wake Forest is set to begin a two-game road swing this week when the Demon Deacons take on the Maryland Terrapins on Tuesday evening in College Park.
Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Comcast Center. The game will be broadcast on the ACC's regional sports networks and online on ESPN3. It can also be heard on the Wake Forest IMG Sports Network.
Last Time Out
Wake Forest is coming off a 67-60 loss to Florida State on Saturday in Winston-Salem. The Seminoles erased a 16-point first-half deficit and used a late 8-0 run to break away from a 55-55 tie.
Coron Williams tied a season-high with 18 points to lead Wake Forest, going 7-of-12 from the floor and 3-of-8 from 3-point range. Williams had three assists, two steals and converted a 4-point play early in the game.
Williams was joined in double figures by Tyler Cavanaugh and Travis McKie, who scored 14 points apiece. Cavanaugh and McKie also tied for the team lead with seven boards each.
Williams and Cavanaugh combined for 32 points off the bench, marking the Deacons' highest bench scoring total of the conference season.
Wake Forest Storylines
Madison Jones has a combined 12 steals over the past five games, an average of 2.4 per contest. Jones ranks seventh in the ACC in conference play with 1.5 steals per game.
The ACC's active leading career scorer, senior Travis McKie scored his 1,600th career point last Saturday. McKie is 11 rebounds shy of becoming the eighth all-time Deacon with 1,600 points and 800 rebounds.
Codi Miller-McIntyre has been one of the best guards in the ACC this season. The sophomore ranks among the ACC leaders in field goal percentage (8th), assists (9th), assist-to-turnover ratio (9th) and scoring (13th).

Series History
Maryland leads the all-time series with Wake Forest, 69-56. The Terrapins have won seven straight in the series after taking all three meetings last season.
The Terrapins have knocked off the Deacons in each of the past two ACC Tournaments.
The series dates back to the 1952-53 season when the Deacs picked up a 61-59 defeat of the Terps in the Southern Conference Tournament in Raleigh.
Wake Forest and Maryland have been conference rivals since the Deacons joined the Terrapins in the Southern Conference in 1936.
Next Up...
Wake Forest will travel to Chapel Hill on Saturday to take on North Carolina at noon. The Deacons are looking for the season sweep after beating the Tar Heels 73-67 last month in Winston-Salem.
The Deacons return home to host Clemson on Tuesday, Feb. 25. Wake Forest will be looking to avenge last month's 61-53 loss at Clemson.
