Wake Forest will wrap up the regular season on the road, playing at Miami on Saturday afternoon in Coral Gables in the teams' first meeting of the year.
Tip-off is scheduled for 2 p.m. at the BankUnited Center. The game will be broadcast on the ACC's regional sports networks and online on ESPN3. It can also be heard on the Wake Forest IMG Sports Network.
Last Time Out
Wake Forest is coming off an 82-72 upset of No. 4-ranked Duke on Wednesday in Winston-Salem. The Deacons erased a seven-point deficit late in the game with a decisive 17-0 run.
Five Deacons scored in double figures led by a career-high 20 points from Tyler Cavanaugh. He was joined by Travis McKie (19), Codi Miller-McIntyre (13), Coron Williams (12) and Arnaud William Adala Moto (12).
Miller-McIntyre dished out a game-high eight assists, his second-highest total of the ACC season.
Cavanaugh was the first Deacon since the 2010-11 season to score 20 points off the bench.
The Deacons held Duke to 22 percent (6-of-27) shooting from behind the arc. The Blue Devils had entered the game shooting 40 percent from 3-point range.
Wake Forest led Duke 36-33 at halftime, only the second time that the Blue Devils have trailed at the half this season (Feb. 1 at Syracuse).
Wake Forest sent McKie and Williams out right on their Senior Night. McKie had 19 points, four rebounds, and one assist while Williams dropped 12 points, including two 3-pointers.
Wake Forest Storylines
Wake Forest can clinch the No. 10 seed in next week's ACC Tournament with a win at Miami. With a loss, the Deacons will be either the No. 11 or No. 12 seed.
With Wednesday's win over Duke, Wake Forest completed its first home sweep of its in-state rivals Duke, North Carolina and NC State since the 2008-09 season.
Coron Williams ranks 16th on the school's single-season 3-point field goal list with 59. He is trying to become the first Deacon with 60 3-pointers in a season since Justin Gray in 2006.
Travis McKie needs five rebounds to move into 10th on Wake Forest's career rebounding list. He enters the game with 809 career rebounds.
Series History
Wake Forest leads the all-time series with Miami 9-6. The Deacons won the teams' only meeting last season, upsetting No. 2-ranked Miami 80-65 in Winston-Salem to hand the eventual ACC champion Hurricanes their first conference loss of the year.
Wake Forest is 7-6 against Miami since the Hurricanes joined the ACC in 2004-05. The Deacons went 2-0 vs. the Canes in non-conference action with games during the 1939-40 season and 1990-91 campaign.
