Wake Forest travels east to take on North Carolina this weekend in an ACC showdown.
The Demon Deacons have won four-of-five ACC series this season including all three road series.

Last Time Out
Wake Forest baseball fell to UNCG on Tuesday night 4-2 at Gene Hooks Field at Wake Forest Baseball Park.
Connor Johnstone pitched 7.0 innings for Wake Forest and gave up just two runs and walked one batter. Joey Rodriguez had an RBI and a hit for the Deacs as UNCG broke a 2-2 tie with two runs in the eighth inning.
Max Tishman took the loss while Parker Dunshee gave up just one hit in 1.2 innings pitched.
Wake Forest Storylines
With the two wins over Maryland last Friday and Saturday, the Deacs have won four-of-five ACC series this season.
Wake Forest is receiving Top-25 votes in both the NCBWA poll and the USA Today Coaches poll.
Evan Stephens is tied for second in walks in NCAA Division I while the Deacs are fifth as a team in walks.
Jack Fischer currently leads the ACC in innings pitched with 58.1 innings this season. He has gone at least 7.0 innings in every conference start.
Charlie Morgan has been a major force for the Wake Forest offense over the past 21 games as he has 23 RBIs over that span with two home runs after only recording five RBIs in the first 12 games. He recorded his 100th career RBI on March 30 against Notre Dame.
The Demon Deacons are 11-4 in one-run games this season and are 18-0 when leading after eight innings.
The Opposition & Series History
North Carolina leads the all-time series with Wake Forest 95-73-1.
The Deacs are searching for their first series win against UNC since 2011 and the first in Chapel Hill since 2001.
The Tar Heels have series wins against Pitt, Maryland and Boston College and fell to Duke and Georgia Tech this season.
Friday night's game will feature starting pitcher RHP Trent Thornton who is second behind Jack Fischer in innings pitched in the ACC this season.
