Wake Forest and Charlotte will meet in a home-and-home series this week with the Demon Deacons hosting the 49ers on Tuesday before heading to Charlotte on Wednesday.

Last Time Out
Conor Keniry went 2-for-3 at the plate with two RBIs on Sunday as Wake Forest defeated No. 5 Florida State 5-2 in the series finale at Wake Forest Baseball Park.
Keniry had an RBI-single in the fourth and an RBI-double in the eighth inning to lead Wake Forest offensively. The Demon Deacons fought back from a 2-0 deficit to down Florida State (30-9, 16-5 ACC) after dropping the first two games of the series.
Grant Shambley, Jack Carey and Joey Rodriguez each tallied an RBI in the game while Matt Conway went 3-for-4 at the plate with a run scored. Shambley had two hits and a run in the ballgame.
Will Craig got the start on the mound and gave up two runs in the second inning. Parker Dunshee, Nate Jones, Max Tishman, John McCarren and Connor Kaden all pitched in relief as McCarren got the win while Kaden earned the save.
Wake Forest Storylines
Grant Shambley is sixth in the ACC in batting with an average of .342 while Stephens is 12th, giving Wake Forest two of the top lead off batters in the conference.
Will Craig is tied for first in the conference in home runs and is now 10th all-time in school history for homers by a freshman.
Evan Stephens is third in walks in NCAA Division I while the Deacs are fifth as a team nationally in walks.
Wake Forest has won at least one game in every ACC series this season.
Matt Conway recorded two doubles in the series against North Carolina, moving him fourth all-time in school history in the category.
The Demon Deacons are 12-6 in one-run games this season and are 21-0 when leading after eight innings.
The Opposition & Series History
Wake Forest leads the all-time series with Charlotte 37-25-1.
The two teams split the season series last season as the Demon Deacons defeated Charlotte 8-4 in Winston-Salem, but fell 5-4 in Charlotte.
Charlotte has an overall record of 11-24-1 in 2014.
Logan Sherer has a team-high 18 RBIs for the 49ers.
