Fans, come "Mann the Quad" and meet new Wake Forest basketball coach Danny Manning on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. on Hearn Plaza on campus! Coach Manning will take questions from fans and will be available for photos afterwards.
Complimentary refreshments will be provided to the first 500 fans in attendance. The family-friendly event will include inflatable games and activities for fans of all ages.
WHAT: "Mann the Quad" - an introduction to Coach Danny Manning
WHEN: Tuesday, April 8 at 6:30 p.m.
WHO: The event is free and open to all fans.
WHERE: Hearn Plaza, between Wait Chapel and Reynolda Hall. Fans should park in lots W1 and W2 off of Wake Forest Rd. near the University Pkwy. entrance.
ACTIVITIES: A number of family friendly activities will be available at Mann the Quad for fans of all ages
- Coach Danny Manning will hold a question-and-answer session with fans on Hearn Plaza.
- Afterwards, Coach Manning will be available to meet and take photos with fans.
- Complimentary refreshments will be offered to the first 500 fans in attendance
- Inflatable games and activities for fans off all ages will offered. Included among the activities are hamster ball races, cornhole, face-painting and more.
- Fans are invited to Tweet and share their photos from the event with the hashtag #MannTheQuad.
- The Deacon Shop on the Quad will be open until 9 p.m.
Fans unable to attend the "Mann the Quad" event can get their first look at Coach Manning by tuning in to his introductory press conference, which will be video streamed live on WakeForestSports.com at 6 p.m. on Tuesday.
