Wake Forest Hosts Successful Grass Volleyball Tournament

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Wake Forest volleyball hosted its four-on-four grass volleyball tournament on Saturday morning at Manchester Plaza on the campus of Wake Forest University. All the proceeds benefit the volleyball team's service trip to Nicaragua May 2015.
There was a total of 20 teams and 80 total players that participated in the tournament on a perfect sunny afternoon. "We are very thankful for the local volleyball community to come out and show their support for Wake Forest Volleyball," said head volleyball coach Ken Murczek.
The team plans on hosting another tournament in the spring before they depart for Nicaragua. "We look forward to hosting another tournament in early spring before we depart for our international trip to Nicaragua in mid May, said Murczek. "The team did a great job of helping run the tournament and build relationships with the players."
