WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Wake Forest's 32-game regular season schedule was released by the Atlantic Coast Conference office on Wednesday afternoon. The Demon Deacons are set to open the season at home on Friday, Nov. 14, against UNC Asheville.
The ACC announced tip-off times and TV designations for the conference portion of the schedule. Non-conference dates have been set, but all times listed for those games are tentative until TV designations have been determined.
Wake Forest will open the conference season on Saturday, Dec. 6, at rival NC State at 7 p.m. on ESPNU. This will mark the Demon Deacons' earliest conference opener since playing at Maryland on Dec. 3, 1998.
The Deacons host new ACC foe Louisville in their home conference opener on Sunday, Jan. 4, at 8 p.m. on ESPNU.
Wake Forest will host all three in-state conference rivals for the second season in a row after knocking off each in Winston-Salem last year. The Deacons host Duke on Jan. 7, North Carolina on Jan. 21 and NC State on Feb. 3. The UNC game will be nationally televised on ESPN2 at 7 p.m.
Wake Forest will play home-and-home series with Duke, NC State, Georgia Tech and defending ACC champion Virginia.
The Deacons will host Louisville, Miami, North Carolina, Pittsburgh and Virginia Tech while playing Boston College, Clemson, Florida State, Notre Dame and Syracuse on the road.
Wake Forest will be playing its first-ever games at Notre Dame and Syracuse and hosting Pittsburgh and Louisville for the first times.
All conference games carried on an ESPN network will also be available on the WatchESPN app. All conference games carried on the ACC Network or a regional sports network will also be available on ESPN3.
The non-conference portion of the Deacons' schedule, which was announced in July, is highlighted by a matchup against 2014 Final Four team Florida on Dec. 20 at the Orange Bowl Classic in Sunrise, Fla. Wake Forest will also take on Tulane and Arkansas on the road in mid-November and play at longtime rival Richmond in late December.
The Deacons host five teams during a 12-day span from Nov. 21 - Dec. 2. Wake Forest welcomes in Iona, Nicholls State, Mount St. Mary's, Delaware State and Minnesota during that span.
Wake Forest's season opener against UNC Asheville will also be the second annual Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Classic.
Wake Forest will play one exhibition game, hosting Young Harris College on Friday, Nov. 7, at 7 p.m.
