Wake Forest Announces 2015-16 Track and Field Schedule

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Director of Wake Forest track and field John Millar announced the 2015-16 indoor and outdoor men's and women's track and field schedules Tuesday afternoon.
The Demon Deacons' indoor season begins at home on Dec. 5 at the JDL College Kick-Off Classic in Winston-Salem, N.C.
Wake Forest will begin the 2016 calendar year with two more home meets in the Jan. 16 Wake Forest Invitational and the Jan. 17-18 JDL Combined Events. After hitting the road for Virginia Tech's Hokie Invitational, the Deacs will return home for the Camel City Invitational on Jan. 29-30.
Following three more meets away from home, Wake Forest will host its final tune-up before the ACC Indoor Championships in the UCS Invitational on Feb. 20.
The indoor conference championships will take place on Feb. 25-27 in Boston, Mass. and the NCAA Indoor Championships will be held two weeks later in Birmingham, Ala.
The outdoor season will begin on March 18-19 when the Deacons host the Wake Forest Open.
From there, Wake Forest will compete in nine more meets in five different states before beginning the postseason.
The ACC Outdoor Championships are scheduled for May 13-15 in Tallahassee, Fla. The first round of the NCAA Championships will be on May 26-28 in Jacksonville, Fla. and the NCAA Championships in Eugene, Ore. are on the docket for June 8-11.
